Welcome to the South Carolina Space Grant
The Consortium offers a wide range of education services from faculty fellowships to precollege student activities. Each year we conduct competitions for undergraduate and graduate student awards on each of our campuses. We provide mentored research experiences for all of our student awardees. We host several teacher workshops per year using NASA related curriculum. We conduct multiple public service activities including public lectures and scientific presentations.

FYI...SCSGC cannot provide funds to non-US citizen faculty in the form of salary or travel or non-US citizen students. A non-US citizen may apply for our programs as a PI or as a Co-PI if all SCSGC funds support the research of US citizens (faculty or students). Non-US citizens may receive support from their universities and these funds may be used as part of the 1:1 matching cost share required for the grant.
